OHH Medical Alert

Our name and logo, Over the Hockey (OHH), coined from legend hockey player Henry Zajac, has been in existence for over 24years. The way it used to be.We started out at the North Olmsted Rec Centre and currently reside at the Lakefront Lines Arena (Barons Arena) on Hauserman Road in Parma, Ohio. Directions are simple - take 480 and exit at Tiedeman Road, go south past Brookpark Road, we are on the right hand side of the road, about a quarter mile down, formerly the old Browns Training Camp building.

We were tired of the local men's, what we call, local "hack hockey" and decided to create our own organization. We started out with 6 players and we now have 24 permanent member skaters and 3 goalies, together with a listing of 15 Plus subs from which we choose when one of the permanent members cannot attend. Our average age is around 41years old and we welcome new blood, er... hockey players. Participation is by "invitation only". (
E-Mail me if you are interested in more details).

We play a non-contact, change on the fly, full slap shot scrimmage game every Friday night 10:00 - 11:30 PM. With the earlier start time, we are now able to get to the bars after the hockey (The Wagon Wheel on Pearl Road and Snow Road, to er....replenish our bodily fluids. After all, you really sweat playing hockey you know!

We are always looking for good players to come in as "Subs" and work their way into the permanent group.

The only credentials is that you obviously:

  • (1) must know how to skate (no beginners), will accept Females however........
  • (2) must be able to contribute to the play, and
  • (3) get along with the guys. If you are interested in our group, please click on the Request To Play Button and fill out the form and .....we will "check you out". (No pun intended).

I would like to thank you for stopping by our site and feel free to look around at the various other pages. Bookmark our site for future reference.

Sincerely,
Joe Piastrelli and John Kraft
League Co-Commissioners - OHH
