..........................................................Great Exciting NHL, er, I mean, OHH (Over the Hill Hockey) action every Friday night at the Lakefront Lines (Barons Arena) in Parma, Ohio...........!!

Players return to old watering hole.........

(Parma - 3/13/2009-AP) The OHH has found a new bar (actually the same bar, just under a different management) to hang out in after a tough night of hard skating - The Wagon Wheel Pub. Located on Snow road in Parma, it changed names over the years, being called Pinnaras and then Stingers. Both didn't stay around too long and the last establishment, Stingers is where the OHH got stung - literally.

We used to have all of our trophies in the windows, displaying them proudly as we entered and drank in the bask of loud music and player banter. Then one day we found the place locked up tighter than a gooses you-know-what and we could not get our trophies out of hock. It wasn't another season gone by when we found that the Wagon Wheel was back in business and our trophies were thrown in the garbage during the cleanup to open the place up for business.

Now we are back at the bar and the OHH has officially named this bar "Scotty Approved" for alcoholic consumption and it is now the official bar of the OHH. And as Paul Harvey (GOD rest his soul), would say, "And now, you know - the rest of the story".

Two of the sexiest barmaids in the city of Cleveland tend bar on Friday nights - Jenn and Shelly, serving the boys with a smile and a friendly port in the storm after a rough game of hockey.

Looking for Subs (hockey players).......
OHH looking for a few good hockey players.

Interested in playing hockey with one of the more organized leagues in Cleveland? Tired of the "Hack-Me Whack-Me" North America Hockey? Are you between the ages of 30 and 55? Want a good workout?

One and a half hours for $20, (that's right- $20 BIG ONES) and have fun with a good bunch of guys in a "no-hack" league? The OHH is looking to broaden it's base of substitute players. After being called up, just look for your name on the roster posted on the dressing room door, get a jersey, and hit the ice. Interested? Please click here or on our "Request to Play Hockey" button located in the navigation bar and get the ball rolling. Go and sharpen up your skates because you will be called up into action eventually.

We have had ex Lumberjacks, ex Cleveland Barons Wayne Muloin (California Golden Seals), ex Buffalo Sabres and numerous (older) guys skate with us from the Lethbride Broncos, Brandon Wheat Kings, Medicine Hat Tigers, Sudbury Wolves, London Knights, Bellingham Bulls (Washington) and the Peterbourough Petes, just to name a few.

I would like to thank you for stopping by our site and feel free to look around at the various other pages. Bookmark our site for future reference.

Karl Schmidt
